The countdown is almost over for the team and visitors of the Far East Film Festival, an extraordinary film event dedicated to Asian cinema! The Festival, a longtime partner of Isola Cinema, is kicking off today and is going to present 57 feature films and 5 shorts till next Saturday.
Far East Film Festival (FEFF) is the only festival in Friule, dedicated to popular Asian cinema. Between April 20th and 28th, a rich selection of films, striving to document the latest trends in Asian film production, is going to be screened at two venues: Teatro Nuovo “Giovanni da Udine” and Visionario.

The festival is going to feature 14 international premieres, 16 European premieres and 2 world premieres: the best productions from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Singapore.

Tonight, the honour of opening this edition of the Festival is going to Sunny, a Korean production directed by Kang Hyoung-chul. More information about the programme of the first day of the Festival and its other highlights may be found on the website of FEFF.

If the rich programme hasn’t convinced you to pack your bags for Udine, take a look at the original festival trailer.

We promise everyone who is planning on visiting Udine, as well as those who will not be able to make it, that Asian film fans will also be well taken care of at the 8th edition of Isola Cinema, which is going to take place in Izola between May 30th and June 3rd!
