Sesame's corner

Sesame's corner is free creative daycare for children aged 2+ whose parents are at the cinema. It is organized by SEZAM Association in collaboration with Kinodvor. This year, Sesame's corner is going to visit Isola Cinema for the second time, taking place at Isola's House of Culture. Its programme is varied and never boring, offering children the opportunity to play and participate in sportive and creative activities.

When it is born, it grows and ripens

As it is Sesame's corner's second visit to the coast, it deserves to get its own, Isola-cinematic logo! On the opening day, we are going to create our new sign together with the children.

Book and film heroes

This year, Sesame is going to organize a small library full of heroes who have managed to migrate to cinema screens from book pages. Clothes, masks, interactive games, everything will be related to them.

Sea-pirate day

We are going to build a ship and take off for some adventures at sea. We are going to encounter pirates and face them in aquatic games, which will be part of a treasure hunt.

Bunco the Drum – healthy and fun!

A boy named Bunco has to get along with people living an extreeeemly healthy life which – as he finds out – is no fun at all. In Sesame’s corner we are going to explore whether it is possible to live healthily with the help of a lot of laughs, sports and oops, vegies, too!

Cirkus day

Imitation, pantomime, juggling, steeple chase. Clowns and circus performers do all of that in circuses. We are going to organize a mini circus school, tame stuffed animals, help each other learn walking the rope and even try on some masks!


Like last year, Sesame’s corner is going to be a varied, mobile playground. Sesame’s bus, an old car, will be at the childrens’ disposal all the time, joined by a new one – a model of small cars. We will also have a sea carpet full of didactic secrets; a stuffed toy playground and a sandbox of buried secrets. For the first time, we are providing the children with a library, full of many stories.

On arrival, parents are required to fill in a form and indicate a telephone number they can be contacted at, as well as any of the child's special needs, allergies, etc. if relevant. The number of participants is limited.
