Dear Friends, Supporters, Colleagues!
The 14th International Film Festival Kino Otok – Isola Cinema shone brightly on silver screens in Izola, Ljubljana, Koper, Sežana, Tolmin, and Idrija between 1 and 20 June 2018.
We, the Islanders, once again experienced how essential are strong desire for collaboration, sharing of ideas, experiences and considerate networking of all involved in the realization of such a diverse festival. Every year, intertwined between the mind, emotions and actions, the Kino Otok community arises, and leaves permanent marks on people and places. Because of each and every one of you, and all of you together, we are able to confirm that the fourteenth edition has developed its own character, full of heartfelt devotion to film and other forms of artistic expression. Therefore, let us wholeheartedly thank you for sharing laughter and tears with the Otok Institute team on the only Slovenian island of film.
Next year, Kino Otok – Isola Cinema international festival will celebrate its fifteenth anniversary. We hope that we will take this wonderful opportunity to create new film and other ideas, actions, emotions and challenges together!
